“I have been working out and competing in powerlifting and martial arts for decades. Like many of you, I followed ‘proven time-tested’ methods of lifting. In January of 2020 I started having hip and knee issues. Mike Brierton of Brierton Wellness showed me that I was moving and lifting in ways that went against our natural patterns.
After a few sessions I stopped working with him because ‘I got this’ and then the pandemic work from home hit. I stopped lifting at home, gained weight, saw blood pressure and midline measurement rise. I was taking Aleve every day for my hip and generally miserable.
